Designation: Manager II – IT Support Engineer

Your Role
● Provide technical support to address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking issues.
● Conduct remote troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
● Install and support end-user devices, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to company policies.
● Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and helpcards for reference purposes.
● Install authorized software and ensure patches and upgrades are applied on end-user devices.
● Administer and manage user accounts, including provisioning and account management activities.
● Build packages and administer Mac, Windows OS, and iOS/Android devices through MDM solutions.
● Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell, Shell Script, or Python for automation and system management tasks.
● Collaborate with other IT engineers and users to coordinate support activities effectively.
● Comply with all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to IT operations and security.
● Participate in the implementation and support of IT-related policies, contributing to the overall improvement of IT services.
What We’re Looking For
● Service desk experience, with a strong understanding of IT support processes and procedures.
● Proficient knowledge of macOS and iOS platforms, with experience in administering and troubleshooting Mac OS and iOS devices.
● Experience with Jamf or Intune for managing and administering end-user devices.
● Ability to administer and provide user account provisioning, including user account management activities.
● Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Shell Script, or Python for automation and system management tasks.
● Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
● Familiarity with MS Outlook O365 installation and troubleshooting processes.
● Ability to assemble and disassemble laptops, with knowledge of CPU components.
● Understanding of networking concepts, including OSI Layer, TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network architecture.
● Experience in printer installation and troubleshooting.
● Proficient in providing IT support via various channels, including telephone, ticket system, emails, and instant chat messaging tools.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and users
