We are hiring multiple Senior Associates to join the Hybrid Environments Product team within the Hybrid Environments group under Technology Infrastructure. The Hybrid Environments Product team provides planning, strategy, and enablement for all Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) both on premises and external, virtualization, and container technologies and solutions. The Senior Associate is responsible for influencing and informing Technology’s hybrid cloud computing strategy, roadmap, capabilities, prioritization, and delivery of features across our hosting environments and platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high visibility cloud computing initiatives and hybrid environments
Serve as a facilitator across the Hybrid Environments Product Team and Area Product Owner functions
Partner with other SME and peer areas to drive cloud enablement and adoption through a agile delivery model focusing on products and services
Influence and execute product management responsibilities for the products, services, components, and capabilities across areas of governance, architecture, supply chain, legal, information security, and risk areas
Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Agile enablement functions to facilitation product planning, feature and component prioritization, and agile execution through agile ceremonies and delivery
Design, influence, and execute transformation required for hybrid cloud adoption across the enterprise
Evangelize opportunities, challenges, and security advantages of integrated cloud services
Seek out new and emerging technologies for inclusion in Technology’s Hybrid Environments hosting strategy and roadmap of capabilities and solutions
Develop and implement cloud-based procedures, continuous monitoring, compliance, and cloud asset inventory strategies
Reinforce agility and scalability of DevSecOps and automated governance by evangelizing secure infrastructure as code principles
Develop, document, and implement a greenfield framework for cloud optimization leveraging industry best practices to ensure a secure, least privileged model
Proactively prioritize, analyze, and address complex problems and incidents to ensure the highest level of environment stability and availability
Proactively partner to update CI/CD pipelines based on trends identified in the environment
Develop and maintain relationships with business and IT partners to assess, engineer and implement public and on-premise Cloud services and automation solutions that balance business agility, operational maintainability, and risk reduction
Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively innovate and provide credible challenge
Required Qualifications:
15 + years of IT industry experience
2+ years of public cloud experience
3+ years of product strategy development experience
2+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise wide cloud information technology solutions
Ability to manage initiatives related to the following: architecture roadmap that aligns with business strategy and the broader architecture community; hardware and capacity planning, consolidation and rationalization; related emerging technology assessment and incubation
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
2+ years of Kubernetes experience
2+ years of experience in designing and engineering cloud native solutions
2+ years of experience utilizing Cloud Infrastructure within tools and applications such as AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Spinnaker and Terraform
Experience working with cloud security management or governance tools
Design consultation experience at the highest technical level: planning, integration, implementation, scalability, and problem definition
Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies
Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
Agile experience
A Master’s degree or higher in computer science or finance
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired:
Experience with one or more Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or VMware Tanzu App Service (TAS), OpenStack
Professional Cloud Certification(s) from Cloud Security Alliance, AWS, Google, Microsoft, or equivalent industry-standard / professional organizations
Regulatory knowledge as applied to understanding of various Cloud and related risk frameworks (COBIT, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), FedRAMP, etc.)
Knowledge and understanding of 12-factor/Cloud Native development, Infrastructure as Code, Grid computing / Elastic compute
Job expectations:
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
Ability to provide and work from a home office
Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
