Department Overview:
Operational Performance Management (OPM) team is part of WFIP Strategy team. It provide data and analytic support to WFIP strategic initiatives and published dashboards that help in business performance measurement and management.
About the Role
You will work as part of Operational Performance Management team and be responsible for managing a reporting and/or analysis function or parts of a decision-strategies function within a business group or functional area. Decision-strategies function may include insight consulting, analytics/modeling, and/or database/information management, etc.
Responsible for performing highly complex activities related to business analysis, modeling and/or managing a reporting and/or analysis operations. Responsible for senior level consulting partnerships including delivery of findings and recommendations. Decision-strategies function may include insight consulting, analytics/modeling, and/or database/information management, etc.
Designs and leads some of the most complex projects/ analyses, generally spanning multiple products/business lines/functional areas/data sources and may involve complex analytical applications. May be involved directly in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. that enable analysis, modeling, and/or advanced data visualization.
Provide partnership support to business stakeholders. This requires understanding of business objectives and underlying drivers to embed them into information, analytic, and data management processes. Responsibilities include working with stakeholders to:
define information needs and translate into specific data/technical requirements to support business initiatives and projects
determine the required capabilities, tools and data
leverage and develop multiple internal or external information sources
maintain and adhere to necessary processes, controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
applies knowledge of business, customers, and/or products/ services/ portfolios to synthesize data to ‘form a story’ and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective
Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies. Lead data governance and data quality management initiatives.
Leads project/virtual teams & mentors lower level staff. May mentor a small team.
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Skills:
Ideal candidate will have Bachelors or Masters degree with 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling. Management and/or leadership experience desirable.
Candidates needs to possess excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across levels.
Desired Skills:
Candidate with hands-on experience with multiple BI and analytics tools such as tableau, PowerBI, R, Python and data management principles and practices
