Mission
The Invoice & Cost Controller is responsible for digitally administrating incoming (from LSPs) and outgoing (to customers) invoices including deviation and support operations. Also able to visual & make Provisions as per VG Financial Guidelines. Provide clients with the best overall service levels, meet & exceed established goals for cost control & deployment.
SUMMARY OF JOB
Perform- Receiving, Analyzing & Evaluating information for cost control
Perform- Validate Logistics Service Provider’s (LSP) invoices for having right cost levels for the businesses & securing timely processing of the invoices & payments to the LSPs. Allocating the costs to businesses thru’ ICN/ Invoices as per the SLAs
Transform- by Securing data quality, digitalization drive and Innovative Solutions through Continuous Improvements
Transform- Secure Operational Excellence through Digitalization of ICC operations
Ensure Compliance & Control standards
TRANSPORT OPERATIONS -INDIA, PRODUCTION LOGISTICS
We are a team supporting production of Trucks, Buses, Construction Equipment, Penta, Volvo-Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VEPT unit) and GTT CV Site on Domestic & International Material Transport flows, Product Transport flows and we also manage Packaging Material for the Group Operations. We are managing Material exports from India to Renault Trucks France, Volvo Group Australia, Volvo Group North America and CBU Exports to South East Asian countries. We are a passionate team operating from Bangalore (Hoskote, Peenya) and Pithampur sites
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Tracking and follow up invoice from logistics service providers
Close coordination with PL Operations Team & Logistics Purchasing on all Invoicing matters & service validation
Validate incoming invoice from logistics service providers as per PO/ Rate Contract & put up to Operations Manager for payment authorisation.
Allocating the costs to businesses thru ICN/ Invoices as per the SLAs for group companies / JV within agreed timeframe and close coordination to ensure receivables as per agreed payment terms
Close coordination with logistics service providers for on-time invoice submission and for quality of invoices without deviations
Close coordination with ACC on invoice submission from LSP for scanning and coding
Close coordination with ACC for payment to logistics service providers as per LSP contracted terms
Address LSP queries with ACC & Taxation for timely closure
Validate accounting report/ reconcile the balances with LSPs (or Customers)
Create and control statistical information / reports.
Handle deviations, problems and customs claims /investigations. Take corrective and preventive actions. Secure permanent improving of own tasks.
Adhoc inputs, invoice specs & info to Finance, Taxation & Auditors.
Support Business Control with all inputs related to monthly closing like volumes, freight, monthly provisions etc
Participate/support in workgroups / projects.
Execute various tasks to support the manager.

Competence
Bachelors / Master’s degree in Commerce from a recognized Indian University is must MBA /Diploma in Supply Chain/ Transportation is an added advantage
in Supply Chain/ Transportation is an added advantage
3-4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivables / Financial accounting
Hands on experience of SAP
Digital Competence – Data Analytical skills with Office365 Apps, Automation ideas, experieince
Fluent in English & Good Communication Skills
Able to share Cost Analysis on spend/ Provisions
High on Integrity and Strong Ethics
Priority Setting
Proficient in Interpersonal skills & strong in customer service relationship
