Job Purpose
To develop and execute the business strategy for monetization of the fiber network assets of VIL and also to help build a stronger transport network for VIL using third party fiber networks. The role will be responsible for driving sales through various channels of Vi Business to the target segment, create and fulfil demand for fiber across segments in order to meet the revenue and performance objectives defined for the business.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
Deliver the financial objectives set for fiber monetization from time to time.
Drive the dark fiber revenue from key customer segments such as OTTs, ISPs, Data Centres, Telcos and Large Enterprises by building the funnel and closing the deals.
Build and own the intelligence around the fiber business, with an objective of developing and increasing the market potential.
Engage actively with VIL Technology and other key stakeholders to identify and agree on the fiber inventory that can be monetized.
Build strategic and operating partnerships with the customers to create an eco-system facilitating bi-lateral relationships, with a view to enhance the quality and extend the reach of VIL’s own fiber network
Drive cadence across various internal functions as well as customers/partners on various key areas such as projects, collections, payments, disputes, quality etc so as to run a clean business.

Route kms signed up in agreements, as set from time to time
Revenue targets
Acquiring fiber for VIL key projects
Operational Cadence to meet the SLAs
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
Ability to lead in different situations, to deliver the objectives for the Business. Team work and leadership ability to inter-work and influence across all levels
Understanding of the fiber eco-system, with established relationships
Working knowledge of the way the business operates
Ability to collaborate and work across various functions and stakeholders
Relevant experience of 15 years in managing customer relationships and projects aimed at delivering superior customer experience
Must have technical / professional qualifications

MBA / PGDBM (desirable)
