The Infrastructure Operations Engineer supports administration of central and/or local data centres, legacy and/or centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements and provides support for the availability of Vodafone IT applications and Data Centre activities and database environments. The Infrastructure Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external) gained through extensive practical experience and works with the colleagues to deliver monitoring of hardware and software in datacentres, and executes event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Typically reports to the Infrastructure Operations Manager.

Proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to process (ITIL)

Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Good troubleshooting skill on Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop (PVS && MCS), NetScaler and basic understanding of Azure (IaaS).

Able to work in 24X7 operational support

Demonstrated ability in technical implementation skills on PVS and MCS , vDisk patching and sealing Process

Basic knowledge on Hyper Converged Infrastructure (Nutanix)

Basic knowledge on Azure and PowerShell Scripting

Job Responsibility

Citrix Administration with both XenApp and XenDektop with multiple sites and farms. Experience NetScaler/StoreFront/Web Interface /NetScaler.

Good knowledge on Citrix Infrastructure components, GPO, Citrix policies

Experience in troubleshooting Citrix issues and provide effective solution

Hands on experience on PVS and MCS technology, PowerShell scripting.

Good knowledge of creating MCS catalog, Delivery Group, Image creation

Citrix Infra/ published app installation and configuration

Good knowledge of Hypervisor, Active Directory, Windows Server 2K12/2K16

Basic knowledge on Network, Storage, Azure Cloud (IaaS), Nutanix

Printers Management in Citrix

Citrix Patch Management and policies configuration

Knowledge of ITIL

Good communication skills
