Designation: Purchase Executive / Sr. Purchase Manager

Job Location: Umbergaon, Gujrat

Work Experience: 4 To 5 Years ; 10 To 12 Years

Industry Background: Truck Manufacture / Automobile / Manufacturing

Eligibility Criteria:

Ø B.E. Mechanical / Diploma

Ø Good fluency in English

Ø Some knowledge of Arabic preferred. Knowledge of prevailing customs rules and regulations.

Ø Knowledge of Taxation and HSN code

Ø Knowledge of imports & exports procedures, customs/ bank/insurance documentations and formalities.

Ø Knowledge of costing and pricing methodology, warehousing procedures & inventory management.

Ø Knowledge of logistics and freight industry, procurement rules and regulations. Knowledge of packaging products for shipping/delivery.

Ø Flexible to Travel within and out of India

Ø Knowledge of different types of payment terms

Job Description:

Ø Sourcing New Vendors, Suppliers, Transporters (Logistics)

Ø Maintain list from approved suppliers

Ø Sending Enquiries to suppliers by mail for getting quotations

Ø Negotiating with suppliers in terms of Rate, Delivery and Payment Terms

Ø Preparing Comparison Chart & make purchase order

Ø Checking purchase orders and get approval then send it to supplier

Ø Follow-up with suppliers, stores for delivery of raw material

Ø Checking Availability and maintain data of raw materials

Ø Do local purchase, cash purchase for urgent items

Ø Developing new vendors for cost cutting

Ø Do Market Research

Ø Arranging Transporters (Logistics)

Ø Develop New Transporters

Ø Travel within and out of India for developing new vendors
