SAE is responsible for delivering optimized and trusted control solutions for our Wind Turbines including the functional safety. This includes the real-time communication backbone that ties all the distributed control nodes together, the real time operating system of the control nodes and the high-level functionality that control all operation in the turbine. SAE is responsible for maintaining the man machine & plant interface, service functionality, sensing (wind, azimuth, yawing, tower acceleration), AUX power supply & backup. We are a team of around 200+ engineers spread between Denmark, Portugal & India working in a highly innovative technology-centric and process focused environment
Responsibilities
Technical Lead on large new electrical projects Guiding new & experienced engineers for on time delivery of project on technical solution
Create or Update of technical purchase specifications for LV Panels and LV cables
Create & maintain Electrical documentations like panel layout, electrical diagrams etc
Create design verification plans, procedures, reports, update Service & Installation procedures
Participate in supplier type / routine test on LV panels and LV cables
Responsible for the work documented according to Vestas’s way to market process in control and auxiliary power area
Exposure to International standards such as IEC / UL / CCC etc., for example IEC 60204-1 Machine directive
Hands on experience on PTC Windchill PDM link, change management system & electrical drafting tools like Eplan / SEE electrical
Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s in electrical / Electrical and Electronics / Similar engineering
7+ years of experience in designing electrical & developing LV Panels & Cables
Supervising a Project team for complex projects e.g. in designing & building of LV electrical systems
Experience from Wind turbine industry / Energy sector / Low voltage component manufacturer
Understanding of product development process with knowledge of all design phases from concept to validation and improvement
Experience with Jira and agile methodologies and project management
Cross cultural understanding and committed to diversity and gender balance
Exposure to EMC / EMI needs to the product

You have an great commercial/business understanding
You shall have good organizational and communication skills and you will be required to work within an international and multi-disciplinary team
