Job Summary

An Associate IT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing first call case resolution, case triage, escalations, and high levels of customer service. Processes internal service requests and incident cases for all technology domains. Troubleshoots issues directly with users in a professional manner.

Essential Functions/Major Job Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoots incident cases with associates in a professional manner.
• Independently follows runbooks and case procedures.
• Triages, collects data, documents cases, and escalates those cases as necessary.
• Proactively monitors tools for alerts and provides notification of outages.
• Assists in the development and writing of knowledge articles and runbooks.

An Ideal Candidate Will Have

Specific Technology Exposure require for SD roles:-

• Ticketing Systems like Service Now, Remedy etc, Fresh Services/works
• Windows 10, Windows 11.
• Office 365
• Microsoft Teams
• Mac OS.
• MS Outlook
• Bit Locker, Encryption (basics)
• Antivirus, Backup basics.
• Remote support, Troubleshooting. Telephonic Support.
• Hardware troubleshooting basics (booting issue, battery checks of laptops, Monitor, Docking Station connectivity)
• Remote laptop configuration for new hires,
• Network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN –Internet Fundamentals)
• VPN Technologies.
• Android and IOS support for mail configuration.
• Understanding the documented new hire, exit process and taking appropriate actions.
• Active Directory (users management)
• Active Directory (Security groups) basics
• File server directory access – basics.
• Coordination with L2/L3 team for escalation.
• Creating knowledge base articles, SOPs.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Work Experience

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in information technology preferred.

Certifications

• CompTIA A+ (or similar) preferred.
• ITIL Foundations preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and receive constructive feedback from senior analysts.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service when working directly with users that may not be technical.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office software suite.
• Intermediate knowledge of PC components and troubleshooting them.
• Entry knowledge of general networking principles.
• Entry knowledge of processing cases within a case management system.
• Entry knowledge of Mac OS and/or Linux operating systems.
• Entry knowledge of cyber security practices.

Working Arrangements

• Standard work week or as defined by assignment requirements.
• May be required to attend a local office for specific tasks and meetings.
• Rotating shift 24/7 support may be required or follow the sun approach with teams based out of US offices.

Travel

• Occasional travel to borada india office required -3 days a week.
