Job Summary:
As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources team in various administrative and operational tasks. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in HR practices. You will work closely with HR professionals, assisting in recruitment, employee onboarding, HR documentation, and various HR projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Support:
– Assist in posting job openings on job portals and company website.
– Screen resumes and shortlist potential candidates for interviews.
– Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates.
– Assist in conducting initial interviews and assessments.
2. Onboarding and Orientation:
– Assist in preparing onboarding materials for new hires.
– Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
– Help in collecting and organizing new hire documents and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
3. HR Documentation and Records:
– Maintain and update employee records, both physical and electronic.
– Assist in preparing HR-related s, data analysis, and presentations.
– Ensure confidentiality and security of all HR-related information.
4. Employee Relations:
– Participate in employee engagement initiatives and events.
– Assist in handling employee inquiries and addressing basic HR-related issues.
– Help in promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
5. Training and Development:
– Assist in coordinating training programs and workshops.
– Support the tracking of employee training progress and completion.
6. Compliance and Policy Adherence:
– Stay updated with labor laws and HR regulations.
– Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
7. HR Projects:
– Participate in various HR projects to improve HR processes and practices.
– Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance HR effectiveness.
8. General Administrative Support:
– Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
– Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
– Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
– Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field.
