3 years of BI design and development experience using Cognos 8 and/ or 10 (Report Studio, Metric Studio, Framework Manager, Data Manager and PowerPlay)
Proficient in designing framework models, catalogs and creating list reports, freestyle reports, cross-tab reports, sub reports and dashboard reports
Experience in performance tuning of reports
Desired Skills:
1 year experience of Sybase IQ database experience, with a focus on performance tuning
1 years experience of Unix scripting
Necessary Technology or Application Experience:
Cognos report development, with an understanding of the metadata model as it relates to the DB data model, and the ability to implement new reports.
Works independently to design, develop and implement new solutions and/ or changes to existing systems.
Develop and execute reporting test scenarios and test cases for unit, integration and systems testing
