Full Job DescriptionRole Proficiency:
A subject matter expert striving for excellence in day to day work in Operations/Procurement/Compliance by supporting ITAM Managers and IT Leadership. Maintaining and providing reports on demand at predefined frequency with supervision from Lead II.
Outcomes:
Maintaining current knowledge of software or hardware changes and planning changes appropriate to business needs.
Managing and tracking software licenses hardware inventory levels and receipt of IT purchases
Regularly assembles and reports all IT performance data; identifies trends issues and problems with IT asset management and reports the results to IT senior management.
Regularly monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned staff members and work groups. Provides feedback for performance evaluations; recommending corrective action as necessary in addition to training and development for assigned staff members.
Monitors the track record and use of third-party hardware and software being used by UST end users. Identifies questions issues and problems; works with the vendor to identify solutions and resolve. Evaluates the results and resolution of identified questions issues and problems to assure the matter is resolved and recommend further actions if necessary.
Manages license updates allocation reclaims and accurate reporting of licenses in use against various assets (Desktops laptop servers) across multiple environments.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
Measures of Outcomes:
Compliance Reporting – Weekly Monthly and Quarterly
Potential Savings and Achieved Savings Report – Monthly and Quarterly
Publish Chargeback report by 01st of every month
Less than 5% errors in chargeback reporting
Target savings of 15% Annually on software consumption for designated portfolio

Software Licensing knowledge in multiple vendors:
Sound knowledge in at least 3 vendors – Microsoft IBM VMware Oracle Adobe Symantec
ITAM Tool Proficiency:
Ensure industry related certifications are obtained
