Full Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method
Solves complex problems through design and programming skills
Analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience including any course / project work in academic setting
Experience with Git Source Code Management
Experience in the Insurance Industry (preferably Health Insurance)
Experience with software development/programming
Experience working with distributed teams
Good understanding of the key requirements documents involved in a delivery lifecycle (functional, technical, testing documents)
Good to have knowledge on RPA tool (UiPath, Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere/others)
Required with at least one of the following languages: Core Java, VB, C# (Preferably Core Java)
VB scripting, GitHub & Selenium knowledge
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Ability to perform design and code reviews
Well-organized with good communication and reporting skills
Self-motivated, team player, action and results-oriented
