Primary Responsibilities:
Accountable for managing delivery of portfolio of engagements across multiple internal customers/lines of businesses in the IT operations, platform optimization and software engineering
Modernization & Legacy Decommissions – Software Applications / Products, Cloud First Approach leveraging Public / Private Cloud, Open Source Adoption, Microservices / n-Tier Architecture leverage
Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) – Server OS (Operating Systems), Middleware, Data Base, Archival (Storage & Back-up)
Deconstruction CoE: Validate & Proactively reduce the Infrastructure footprint of unused S/W products
Data Center Consolidation
Deliver innovative cost-optimization solutions targeted towards reduction of enterprise-wide technical debt, through Infra product lifecycle management and Infra modernization. Targets including, but not limited to Compute and OS platforms, Databases, ETL, Middleware, Network components etc
Identify, scale and deliver programs for large-scale Application rationalization, Infra resource utilization and decommission of Infra, with aim of lowering TCO and LoB chargebacks
Active hands-on experience in managing application and compute hosting on On-premise HCI data centers, Azure cloud and Private Hybrid cloud models
Manage operational parameters like resource utilization, attrition, competency mix, campus talent induction etc. and manage function growth effectively
People, attrition management, career planning and development of the team. Drive domain initiatives in the delivery organization and have knowledge specific to customer business process
Provide continuous monitoring methods for the stability of existing processes. Conduct regular review of program progress & report status to leadership forums
Conceive innovative, high value solutions for lines of businesses, in areas of technology or process improvement
Manage diverse and large geo-distributed teams; sizes that are in the 200 – 400 FTEs range
Manage customer relationship within and outside the division from delivery perspective and achieve best in class satisfaction and NPS scores
Identify interdependencies and work to develop plausible solutions. Pro-active Risk and Escalation Management
Willingness to travel domestic and international on a need basis (1-2 times a year)

Required Qualifications:
17+ years of total experience in IT Services – mix of both IT Infrastructure Services and Software Product Maintenance Delivery
Server OS (Windows, UNIX/Linux), Virtualization (VMware, Citrix), Middleware (Apache Tomcat, IBM Web Server, etc.), Database (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, Cassandra, etc.)
Hands on experience in delivery of large scale Technical and IT operations engagement(s) with a team of at least 150 people
Cloud Operations experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud
Software application maintenance and support, Software/Product engineering and operations
Understanding of changing Tech landscape – Digital Technologies… Eg: Cloud, Automation (Infrastructure), Agile/DevOps, Analytics, etc
Demonstrated ability to work in a very fast paced environment, to manage multiple tasks, to adapt and deliver results in highly unstructured situations
Strong experience in Delivery with distributed teams, onsite/offshore, define and implement delivery processes, handle mix of project types and technologies
Ability to build high performing teams, mentoring team members, building a strong second line, ability to attract & retain talent
Able to deal with diverse set of stakeholders and tune abstraction levels to be able to communicate effectively from a campus mind level to CIO sponsor
Excellent customer interfacing skills and proven ability to interact with Senior leadership team from IT and Business in large-scale organizations
Good understanding of Financials and key levers that influence operating profitability
Ability to provide coherent vision, strategic plans, and leadership to achieve peer/stakeholder buy-in and successful alignment with business vision
Proficient in articulation, communication and presentation
