The Team’s Focus
Our TransUnion Rental Screening Services (TURSS) applications are key revenue producing applications targeted at a market that includes independent landlords, small businesses and medium to large property management customers. Our application development Agile teams have the responsibility to develop functionality that will keep our products relevant in the market. We use an Agile delivery method (Scrum) to ensure the teams are able to deliver a continual stream of releases and are able to adjust focus as the market demands and as directed by our business partners
What You’ll Bring:
Manager – Information Technology
The Manager of Information Technology is responsible for managing a dedicated IT development teams to deliver new functionality for our web applications, as prioritized by key business partners. Responsibilities include strategic and project planning, budget and capital expenditure planning, communication with the business and IT team, resolution and escalation of issues affecting delivery commitments, directing and validating estimates & delivery plans, collaboratively creating and reviewing architecture roadmaps and high level software designs, personnel reviews and management, addressing production issues through the problem management process and working closely with business leadership to help in prioritizing work efforts.
How You Will Contribute:
Collaborate with on-shore business management team and corporate IT teams to develop effective strategic & architectural plans for our products
Bring a solid problem solving skillset to addressing production issues as they occur to get them resolved in a timely manner
Work with the scrum development teams to develop accurate estimates and delivery plans for required functionality
Creatively solve issues and roadblocks to keep deliveries on track to commitments
Engage development personnel in a way that keeps them motivated, growing and productive
Perform regular performance reviews for application development personnel to ensure teams are aware of expectations and their performance and remain highly engaged
Interview and hire talented architecture, development and business team members; develop and motivate team members to maximize their engagement
Utilize your management talents to perform annual compensation reviews and adjustment processes
Bring an energetic, positive leadership-oriented attitude to the work environment every day

Impact You’ll Make:
What You Will Bring:
5+ years of proven IT management experience with emphasis on software development and project delivery; Experience with software product delivery is preferred
12+ years of IT software development experience; some .NET experience is preferred
Bachelors degree; degree in computer science, information management or equivalent
Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle; experience with Agile methodologies preferred
Experience with IT operations and support; ITIL Service Management preferred
