Job Summary:
As a part of the India ETCs PMO team, the senior manager will collaborate with internal and global product teams to drive New product development projects. The Senior Manager with strong people management capabilities will also manage complex projects/initiatives or phases of a project to ensure the completion of milestones within budget, tracks performance and progress of project against committed timeline. Projects could be NPD, Agile, NTP, Productivity, RTS or QR type. This role calls for collaboration with cross functional & multi-location teams to ensure that the projects are accomplished to a high quality, adhering to our standard processes, systems and project management principles, while remaining aligned with strategy and goals of the organization. The Program Manager / Associate program manager/Scrum will also manage project portfolio/project agreements of the respective ETC teams. Resolves unique problems that could occur during the project to minimize delays & provide timely status updates to the executive leadership team.
Core Job Responsibilities
Fulfill the role of the Senior Manager – Program Management and all that it entails
Build and Lead PMO sub-team that primarily aligns with water fall process
Develop a long-term vision & roadmap for the PMO sub-team. Mentor, guide, hire and scale the team with strong talents.
Understand project requirements, collaborate with project owners, leaders & cross functional teams across the globe for delivery of projects, by adhering to standard processes, systems and project management principles.
Ensure the completion of project milestones/deliverables within committed Quality (Q), Delivery (D), Project cost (C) & Product cost (C), track performance and progress of project against committed QDC targets
Ensure the development team is following established product development procedures and practices to leverage shared organizational knowledge and experience
Adhere to general project management principles of Project scope management, time management, cost management, risk management and stakeholder management
Lead/Assist Annual Operating Planning (AOP) discussions with respective SBUs/NOEs and corporate teams
Collaborate with PMO team members to continuously improve process, systems and develop/refine standard works
Project management of Strategic organization initiatives, deployment of BOS and coaching project teams
Manage ETC PPM project portfolio / Project agreements of respective teams and publish the monthly billing data for the respective teams
Host monthly calibration meetings and publish monthly QDC metrics for the respective teams

Expertise in Project management / Waterfall methodologies
Demonstrated experience in people management and successful implementation of new processes and practices. Strong critical thinking, with clear vision and translating that into important programs.
Strong Conflict management and systematic problem-solving skills.
Ability to think strategically in collaboration with multiple functions / regions / stakeholders.
Good interpersonal skills, coaching and mentoring various engineering functional teams to build a strong cross-functional team.
Strong leadership experience with good communication skills and stakeholder management in a highly cross-functional environment and able to synergize with peers locally and globally
Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with exceptional attention to detail
Self-starter with a desire to make a significant impact on the product development process
Ability to drive program specific goals and actions to closure
Develops and manages projects budgets, schedules & timelines
Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management
Being bold and Courageous to raise issues to upper management
Demonstrate patience during challenging circumstances
Good Interpersonal skills. Ability to learn and collaborate with cross cultural project teams
Exceptional Influencing skills as project team members will not be one’s direct reports
Technically competent with Microsoft Office tools and exposure to JIRA will be good to have.
Minimum Qualifications:
4-year degree from an accredited institution. Technical degree in engineering or computer science preferred
14+ years’ experience of overall functional experience
PMP certified project management professional with 8+ yrs. of Project management experience
Good to have: Certified Scrum Master (CSM + A-CSM, or CSP)
