Job Title: Accounts Officer TPG Cultural Exchange is a U.S. Department of State-designated teacher exchange visitor program sponsor. We are a growing and dynamic organization that recruits teachers from all over the world and connects them with schools in the United States to find jobs and participate in cultural exchange. We help hundreds of teachers every year and our staff has been supporting teacher cultural exchange programs for over a decade. Our CEO Raj Vanjani and his work have been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Times of India, and NBC.TPG Cultural Exchange began as a family business, and though we have grown to place hundreds of teachers in many states throughout America, we maintain a familial feel among our employees and support each other.We are seeking an Accounts Officer who will be an integral member of our close-knit team, learning from experienced industry veterans as you grow into an active role coordinating across multi-functional areas to deliver great solutions. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally and work with companies in the United States and teachers from all over the world.TPG Cultural Exchange is a virtual company, so this is a remote working position. Employees will begin working from our office in either Mumbai or Hyderabad, and will migrate to work from home once the initial training and process has been established.Key Areas of Responsibility: · You will be working closely with teacher documentation to ensure the teachers who apply for our program are qualified to receive the cultural exchange visa and to become a certified teacher in the United States, and that we have all required documentation.· You will be reviewing the documentation teachers have submitted to confirm that they have sent all required documentation to TPG, noting which documents are missing, and working with the team to follow up with teachers on missing documents.· In certain cases, you will be compiling the documentation received in order to share this information with agencies in the United States. Attention to detail and comfort reviewing documentation is required for you to appropriately assess the information received.· You will be tracking loans that we have disbursed to teachers and repayments of those loans· You will be performing data entry onto our client portal.· You will be collating databases from publicly available data, managing stored data in Google Sheets and Excel, and manipulating databases for mailings and basic analysis.· You will be spending a significant amount of time using online tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite, MailChimp, Adobe e-sign, and others.Qualifications· Fluent in English· Background in Accounting and Finance· Proficiency with Excel and Google Drive; comfort working within a suite of software programs, including MailChimp, DropBox, Adobe, and DocuSign· University degree· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills· Motivated, autonomous self-starterApplication Deadline: 13/10/2021Expected Start Date: 26/10/2021Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From ₹35,000.00 per monthBenefits:Paid time offWork from homeSchedule:Flexible shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)total work: 3 years (Preferred)Work Remotely:Yes
