Role Summary: –
The delivery manager will be accountable for customer satisfaction and overall delivery excellence while leading a large team of consultants on various Supply Chain IT engagements specifically in the areas of Demand & Supply Planning, Distribution Planning, and Inventory Planning across various industries, sectors, and geographies. The role would need individuals to gradually pick up both functional and technical aspects of supply chain technologies that are currently used by client or other market standard technologies recommended by us to the client.
Job Description:
Build and execute strategies to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction on ongoing supply chain technology projects.
Help develop account strategy and plan that best leverages consulting team strengths.
Leading a team working on multiple, geographically dispersed projects, and ensure all projects are delivered on time and exceed customer expectations.
Define, implement, and continuously improve the Thoucentric delivery framework to assess the quality of consultant’s deliverable during various phases of the project.
Provide leadership and guidance to consultants in managing their deliverables and lead the teams to achieve highest standards, project discipline and accountability.
Juggle multiple and conflicting priorities in a timely and sensitive way.
Manage client stakeholders towards optimal solutions (speedy resolution of issues) while helping them understand resource constraints and prioritization.
Understand the pipeline of demand and work with the Practice leads and Recruitment teams to ensure appropriate resources are available to fulfil the planning projects.
Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with consultants to understand status of project deliverables or any concerns and help alleviate the highlighted concerns.
Build client relationships and serve as an escalation point for customer concerns if/when they arise.
Educational Qualifications:
Strong educational background from reputed management schools
Required Skills:
Having 10+years of overall experience and must have managed delivery for at-least 4 years.
Must have managed a team of more than 25 consultants.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders with emphasis on follow through and reporting.
Analytical and Problem-solving skills along with self-motivation to excel.
Meticulous planning skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Ability to drive projects in a matrix management environment that includes influencing, efficiency, collaboration, candor, and openness with a focus on results orientation.
Ability to analyze large amount of data; SQL knowledge is preferred.
Understanding of supply chain planning process including demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, and inventory optimization
Exposure to best-in-class supply chain software tool (e.g. JDA, SAP, Kinaxis, O9, Anaplan) is preferable
