Human Resource – ExecutiveCompany ProfileThe Red Pen is an independent education consulting company, helping applicants plan their education at the school, university or postgraduate levels. We also assist high schools to develop student-focused, scalable university counselling infrastructure.We currently have approximately 65+ team members in Mumbai and in locations around the world. Most of our team members have lived, worked and/or studied outside India. Currently we are working from home.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an HR executive who will provide excellent support and assistance to the employees and managers and be responsible for recruiting new talent, implementing policies and developing training programs.Responsibilities· Work with management to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees· Direct all hiring and training procedures for new employees· Continually educate employees on company policies and keep employee handbooks updated.· Administer or change benefits, health plans, retirement plans, etc.· Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive· Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees· Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected· Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances they may have· Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues· Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.· Timely reporting to provide visibility of performance to goal.· Carry out quarterly performance evaluations on the PMS system· Create and lead training and development programs for all the teams· Be data driven and flexible to changes with a natural passion for problem solving.· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.Requirements Proven experience in HR duties (policies, laws, procedures, recruitment, training, pays and benefits)Experience of minimum three years in hiring and talent managementDegree in Human Resources or equivalentA team player, who can thrive in a fast-paced, high growth start-up environment Outstanding organizational ability with a meticulous focus on detailMust be comfortable with cloud-based software and other technology tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointThe ability and willingness to work from 10 to 6 Monday to Saturday; Saturdays are generally 2x/month most of the year except from August to January, when weekly Saturday presence may be required.Excellent at communicating, listening and understanding the applicants.Good at evaluating resumes and selection processTRP offers a competitive remuneration, rapid learning and growth, and significant and varied responsibility to exceptionally driven and motivated candidates.
