This role is responsible for defining, recommending and implementing logistics projects that will improve customer service, cost, efficiency, safety and capability development across all the BIG territory. The role is accountable for working with each of the countries for to ensure alignment alignment of the logistics improvement plans.
The expectation of this role is to independently manage the programs and activities for BIG Logistics Excellence for smaller territories.
This role is a direct report to the Group Logistics Excellence Director.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop & recommend country specific transportation & warehousing strategies that will improve logistics safety, customer service, logistics costs and capability among the smaller countries.
2. Identify the multi year logistics initiatives that will also support the country business plan. The role is also responsible for establishing the monitoring system for the KPIs and will drive improvement.
3. Develop & implement customer service improvement model for MT along with commercial & monitor & improve customer fill rates, including but not limited to improvements in ID of the appropriate KPIs, internal initiatives, service culture, organizational support model and the customer facing initiatives.
4. Drive capability building, automation/ digitalisation of logistics, sharing of best practices, developing knowledge management systems and a creating network of subject matter experts. 5. Initiate and participate in industry networking & benchmarking within TCCC, bottling community and other industries for continuous improvement opportunities, innovations & creating collaborative logistics system.
