THE ROLE
The Product development team is looking for a talented and proven agile product owner to be instrumental in the direction of Digital Banking Solution. In this position, the individual will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation, market and competitive analysis to product development, the design of appropriate business solutions, the planning of the product development, the delivery of reference clients, the support of sales and go-to-market activities.
The role requires hands-on collaboration with a global team. The product owner will work closely with Strategy Team (Outbound Product Managers), Pre-sales, Architects, Product Engineering, and bridge to build, launch, and extend support for Infinity Products.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in development frameworks and mobility, with demonstrated understanding of ‘Go Digital’, Technology and Banking domain knowledge and excellent communication and documentation skills. The role includes having a good overview of our products, both technically and business-wise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Define Initiatives and Themes for the Digital Platform Releases and market analysis, including competitive landscape.
Anticipating client needs – Analyst Engagement and gather feature requirements from customers and internal teams.
Work with user experience team to create a detailed feature specification. Iterate through prototypes and validate product with internal and external customers.
Turn over the feature specifications to the engineering team to implement.
Create external facing content and coordinate with marketing to develop product campaigns.
Work with customers and prospects as needed (may require travel)
Help contribute and build product roadmap/vision.
Managing the product backlog and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives.
Prioritizing needs, as the product evolves, will have to gauge which areas have flexibility and which don’t to determine how and when each iteration and product element will be developed.
Accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product, sign-off the features.
Evaluate that features built are enabled correctly such that they can be used effectively by end users.
Lifecycle product management, including support planning, maintenance, and end of life activities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Business Analyst or Product Owner/Manager or Technical Specialist (Required).
Technology skills – Concepts of Java, JavaScript, RDBMS/DBMS, Rest API, Micro services concepts (Preferred).
Technology skills – Web service, iOS/Android API library, UI Apps (Native Apps, PWA, Responsive), MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Python (Desired).
Digital Banking knowledge in Internet/Mobile Banking, Mobile Wallets, Digital Payments (Required).
Commercial Banking / Business Banking knowledge in Corporate Onboarding, Corporate Financing, Commercial Lending, Syndications, Trade Finance (Preferred).
Should be familiar with Cloud Banking, API First, SaaS model, Third-Party integrations (Desired).
Understanding with software development life-cycle (experience in agile is required).
Validate product deliverables directly.
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Experience working with distributed global teams.
Should be able to work effectively with customers and prospects seamlessly.
