ABOUT SSC – FINANCE
The Finance Shared Services Centre (SSC) is part of Temenos Finance organization with the objective of standardizing, optimizing and continuously improving the process and support for the Business. It is structured through a Functional Model with 4 main function: Payables Function, Contract to Cash, Record to Report and Systems & Support. This role will be part of Payables function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments. Knowledge of banking relationships and covenants. Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team. Appropriate handling of sensitive information. To work closely with Accounts Payable, Billing, Credit Control teams along with Treasury Frontend team to do the below:
Monitoring and managing the organization’s bank relationships
Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements, follow up & take necessary action to clear any differences arising thereof.
Accounting of Investment and Treasury related Internal transfers
Managing foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments
Entering journal entries relating to FX as and when required
AR Cash Applications
AR Adjustments (Withholding Tax, bank charges, Discounts etc.,)
Tracking, follow up & reduction of Unapplied receipts
Interacting with counter-parts and getting information required for treasury department
Ad hoc treasury assistance (e.g. investigation of historical data of receivables and payables)
Analysing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management
Other tasks
Ensuring all accounting entries are in compliance with the Group’s Accounting policies and maintain records to enable audit
Responsible for complete and proper documentation of processes
Timely submission of tracker related to cycle time, KPI etc.,
Ad hoc projects as required by region or group finance
Perform specific tasks at quarter ends and year ends & perform such other duties as required from time to time.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor / PG Degree in Commerce / Finance with good knowledge on account/finance. Experience managing a Treasury Function, preferably with end to end knowledge on Bank Reconciliation (and Treasury back office operations) with 2 to 3years of Exp
Prior experience in a complex multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
Excellent time management and organizational ability
Strong Computer literacy – ability to use Microsoft suite of packages & operating systems
Oracle experience (ERP) – an added advantage
Knowledge on Treasury Management System – an added advantage
Behavioral Attributes:
Strong analytical, excellent time management skill, ability to prioritize own workload
Ability to work independently but also part of a team
Strong English Communication skills – Oral & Written. Proven ability to build remote relationships and influence with a wide range of stakeholders
Prior experience of working in SSC environment is an added advantage
