The Role of the Logistics Manager is to monitor and drive Logistics requirements through a strong level of leadership and commitment to the logistics function. The Logistics Manager is responsible for a high level of quality ,driven through performance outputs from the team in inbound and outbound functions as well as provide a solid reporting perspective on all commercial and transactional elements
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor day to day activity regarding billing and dispatch
Manage 3rd party suppliers such as freight forwarders and warehouse partners as required
Work on cost optimization and efficiency of the logistics operations
Manage Imports/Exports with support of CHA’s
Assist with all aspects of reporting and achievements in line with the required outcomes of the business
Provide escalation to urgent matters and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
Interact with the sales and support teams to deliver excellence in all matters relating to Logistics
From time to time you may be required to assume additional responsibilities other than those specified above.

Knowledge and Skill
Has a proven track record of understanding logistics functions inclusive of implementation of new initiatives to streamline and refine process
Has a good understanding and ability to influence team members regarding growth and personal goals in order to meet business outcomes and targets
Work experience requirements
Minimum of 5 year’s experience in a leadership role (supervisor,Team Leader)
Demonstrated ability to influence change
Ideally strong skills in all MS applications and system oriented training
Able to execute job requirements in SAP
Education & Certification Requirements
High School or Equivalent
Warehouse or logistics qualified is also highly regarded
Skills in people management & workflow procedures
