A talented, energetic individual to join our IT global support team focusing on engineering support on diverse technologies , platform, process , tools both for on prem and evolving to cloud aspects. Candidate should be passionate in delivering customer support in collaboration with multiple teams internally within I.T and global internal customers , troubleshooting and problem solving ability in between Skill Level of L1 and L2 Linux environment , experience in Scripting. Candidate should possess attributes with good communications skills and agility in learning, Good Knowledge of UNIX/Linux system administration and simple Programming is essential. Typically 4+ years of experience is preferable with a mindset of flexible shifts on rotational basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
Follow standard practices and detailed procedures.
Develop, document and implement standard procedures and best practices.
Contribute to our ‘team first’ dynamic.
Learn and create technical documentation and Automation of routine tasks.
Help ensure compliance to Synopsys security policy.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Positive attitude, the ability to learn , creative thinking and Innovation .
Experience in Trouble shooting of OS and Application issues within Unix /Linux Operating Systems.
Configuring DHCP / DNS Services.
RAID Configuration.
Shell / Bash / Python Scripting and Troubleshooting
Server Backup and Restoration
Server Hardware troubleshooting
VM ware ESXI , Virtual Box configuration and Troubleshooting.
Server Security – Updates /Patches/Hardening.
High Customer Focus is important .
B-Tech or equivalent degree in Information Technology / Computer Science.
Looking out for experienced people in working on front line for Linux and Storage .
