Job Description and Requirements
Role and Responsibilities
Under the overall guidance of the COE (Center of Excellence) and direct supervision of COE Procurement Supervisor, the Procurement Assistant is responsible for the effective delivery of procurement services to Synopsys internal user on Synopsys Procurement system and platform. The Procurement Assistant promotes a collaborative, client focused, detail oriented, quality and result oriented approach in the COE Unit. Specific responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to;
Will be managing M&A activities like Vendor set, PR set up and CR set process and will need to participate in all M&A call
Assistance and supervising the reviewing of PR (purchase requisition) with Quotation, checking and evaluation the correction of all details of PR, monitoring the process from PR to PO, Requests for additional information and co-ordination with requestor; check and classify the precedence of the requisition and process as priority setting of the material needed with Procurement Sourcing Team on high value items;
Routing copying and circulation of quotes and proposal that require evaluation; researching pricing obtaining quotes locally on low value items; (*Catalog/Global price book)
Provide Procurement system Q&A; reaching correct contacts to speed up the PR to PO process.
Assist with the coordination with the selected vendor to ensure completion of administrative processes including forward contract award notice and that contract documents are distributed accordingly.
Assist with managing the administrative process throughout the duration of the preparation of the all documentation until the award of the contract to be forward to
This role requires making call/receiving call to/from vendors and internal stakeholders, hence good proficiency in English communication skill is required

Assist Procurement Supervisor on Preparation of management information and system statistical report;
Process with appropriate document on
Provide system support and do standard actions for completing the process; communication across BU when need.
Maintain appropriate records to ensure that procurement process, decision, and contractual agreement are accurately documented for accountability and audit purpose.
Assist the COE Procurement Supervisor in maintaining current up to date Procurement Operation documents and Procurement System User Manuals;
Perform other duties related field as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree: in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Procurement, Logistics Management or a relevant field as an distinct advantage
5 to 6 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement as an distinct advantage
Knowledge of procurement procedures
Good working knowledge of MS Office application (Word, Excel), email and able to easily navigate the Internet
Native and fluency in spoken and written English is require;
Candidate should be willing to work in rotational shift ( including night shifts if needed for US process)
