Role Responsibilities:
Active support of Synopsys business collaboration activities and clients globally through video chat, instant messaging, email and phone using internal tools and software. (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, MS Whiteboard and other applications as needed)
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team to define, manage and complete assigned activities
Provide constructive feedback to the team, suggesting modifications and improvements for applications, processes and projects
Consider various business actions and alternatives for solving customer solutions
Ability to work directly with business groups to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet immediate needs
Identify opportunities and act quickly and decisively to respond to the situation
Take initiative to work on challenging work assignments
Willingness to think outside the normal parameters for assignments
Grow your IT skills and understanding of various platforms and applications as part of a larger team
Develop, edit and proofread documentation for projects, processes and applications
Obtain and maintain accurate client documentation
Automation of processes for collaboration tools and end user support
Virtual assistance for installation of new AV equipment as needed
Consultation of AV equipment needs for worldwide Synopsys offices
Role Qualifications:
Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent customer service skills; Active listening, patience, attentiveness, adaptability, dependability & effective communication
Attention to detail is essential
Diligent problem solver
Developmental knowledge of coding, testing, supporting and debugging software
Fundamental knowledge of common scripting & programming languages
Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI
Ability to produce various versions of designs/visual representations in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of project management concepts and deliverables
Understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting a plus
Understanding of mobile device management solutions a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years equivalent experience
