Primary Responsibilities:
40% Desktop Engineering
Design, build, test and deployment of the Microsoft Endpoint Management platform, Microsoft Autopilot, Windows Device Configuration and Compliance Policies.
Design, build, test and deployment of mobile device enrollment, configuration, compliance and protection policies.
Design, build, test and deployment of Active Directory Group Policy objects for all client operating systems.
Design, build, test and deployment of Azure VDI environments.
35% Operations
Ensure ongoing usability and end user training of computers, mobile devices and software within established standards and guidelines.
Follow and assist in the development of Enterprise Technology Processes and functions.
Create and update the design and build documentation around end user computing.
Act as the escalation point for problem management and ticket resolution.
Administer Email distribution lists, i.e., create and manage distributions lists in Microsoft Exchange.
Provide engineering level support for Office 365 desktop applications to Include OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook.
Participate in software lifecycle management for user devices, including managing software whitelisting.
Utilize management tools such as GPO, SCCM, and Seva LAPS to support all end user devices.
Track and inventory hardware and software assets.
Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues within the end user computing environment.
25% System/Application/Network Support
Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, authorized desktop applications, printers, computer hardware, mobile devices, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment.
Ensure computer workstations interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems.
Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
Identify trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems and support requests.
Job Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience within a help desk to desktop support role
Strong technical knowledge around the Microsoft Modern Workplace
Working Experience with the following Microsoft Platforms or technologies:
Active Directory Domain Services
Microsoft Exchange 2010-2019
Office 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams)
Microsoft Intune (Mobile Device Management)
DNS
System Center Configuration Manager experience is a plus but not required

Full Job DescriptionThe IT Services Engineer provides a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance for escalated concerns within the organizations end user computing environment.
