1) Manage pharmacy operations, hiring and supervising staff, performing administrative duties, and buying and selling non-pharmaceutical products.
2) Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability.
3) Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage.
4) Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.
5) Order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs, maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly.
6) Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, narcotics, and controlled drugs.
7) Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by doctors by calculating, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, or oversee these activities.
8) Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.
9)Responsible for legal compliance related to pharmacy.
10)Responsible for inventory management and audit like daily, monthly and quartely audit.
11)Responsible for implementation all protocols and procedure.
12)Ensure proper duty roster of pharmacist and pharmacy assistant.
13)Responsible for departmental quality indicators.
14)Responsible for return of expiry items before 3 months.
15)Responsible for protocols like LASA, high alert medications, temperature maintenance.
Qualification:
D.Pharm/B.Pharm/M.Pharm + MBA/MHA
Experience:
Mini 5+ Years (Preferred Hospital Industries in Gujarat Experience)
