About the role
We are looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to own the entire lifecycle of a user. This is a highly visible, mission-critical role that will report into the SVP of Growth. The role will build, manage and evolve Stoa School’s engine of acquiring subscribers, nurturing them to become leads and converting them into paying customers.
You will be responsible for the company’s outbound digital advertising and demand generation activities as well as inbound leads. You will also be responsible for engagement and conversion rate optimization across all touchpoints such as emails, website, landing pages and socials. You will manage rigorous and systematic testing of growth hypotheses on an ongoing basis. The role will require you to be a creative thought partner to ideate, prioritize, plan and implement new growth tests and marketing programs.
Fundamentally, this role requires someone who has strong data management skills (qual and quant), experience working with consumer insights, a startup mindset, technical marketing & growth hacking prowess, and is ready to strategically reshape our research products and services.
Responsibilities
Value positioning and messaging
Determine the target user segments and their personas, StoaMBA’s key benefits to determine the product positioning and messaging
Analyze the market to understand the competitive landscape and the positioning of competitors; conduct user research wherever required
Craft focused briefs, rooted in business and customer insights, for creative teams to execute against.
Go to market
Understand deeply the lifecycle of customers and build compelling user journeys (subscriber to lead to customer) across all our marketing and communication channels.
Develop and execute marketing plans that may include email campaigns, events and webinars, social media, PPC campaigns and website updates
Be a key liaison with external agencies and creative teams in bringing marketing briefs and strategies to life, ensuring consistent messaging across channel
Experimentation and analytics
Run constant, iterative tests throughout the funnel, and uses the results to craft data-driven strategy updates that lift key performance metrics.
A/B testing, optimizing email nurture campaigns and send times, experimenting with creative copy and CTAs
Create and publish marketing reports for all stakeholders
Requirements
Prior experience in marketing high consideration products (preference: Education or SaaS companies)
Proven track record managing marketing pipeline generation, including managing campaigns from concept to ROI analysis.
An understanding of agile marketing, to identify and focus on high-value projects and then continuously and incrementally improve the results over time.
Know enough about paid search, paid social, user experience, email marketing, content marketing, and SEO
Demonstrable experience with CRM software (we use Hubspot), online marketing tools and web analytics tools (you will be directly responsible for managing these tools)
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects and strong attention to detail
Ability to critique and give actionable inputs for design and copywriting
Must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
