About the internship/job:
We are looking for an HR intern to manage our companyâs recruiting, learning and development, and employee performance programs. The responsibilities include updating HR policies and overseeing our hiring processes. To be successful in this role, you should have a fair background in human resources departments. You will be a part of strategic decision-making processes for our company so that we hire, develop and retain qualified employees. Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Manage compensation and benefits packages 2. Implement performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations) 3. Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them 4. Implement effective sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques 5. Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees 6. Act as the point of contact regarding HR-related issues 7. Manage employeesâ grievances in tandem with the top management 8. Measure employee retention and turnover rates 9. Oversee daily operations of the HR department
