The Role: Associate Director (Java, React JS, Hibernate)
Grade : 12A.
The Location: Hyderabad, India
The Issuer Portals team is a fun, dynamic group of engineers working to solve the needs of our external clients. The team is built on trust, partnerships and collaboration across the organization. We are driven to deliver high performing web applications to our clients.
The primary product in our Issuer Portals product line is a globally available product called Ratings360™. This product brings together a unique combination of credit ratings, risk research and critical insights that help issuers stay informed, plan ahead and drive efficiency into their workflows. As an industry wide, best-in-breed product offering, Ratings360™ surfaces a holistic picture of credit stories covering more than 90 global economies. With this product, you will help our issuers efficiently assess the critical risk factors behind an organization’s credit rating and make decisions with conviction.

Learning and understanding all aspects of your product-line and the Ratings business
Responsible for helping define the vision, driving team execution, and overseeing the engineering process. This will require strong leadership capabilities, as well as the ability to roll-up-your-sleeves to ensure alignment across technology, product and business stakeholders
Be technically deep and provide input on architecture, design and code. As a thought leader, you are well respected by engineers and non-engineers alike
Drive strong partnerships between engineering teams and Product owners , including business stakeholders in the Ratings organization
Be responsible for driving technical design, architecture and implementation of new features and iterations of core products
Support Product Managers and groups of SCRUM teams with technical coordination of complex inter-product dependencies including release management and delivery execution
Partner with product management and stakeholders to define the roadmaps, plan and report on technical programs that cut across the entire organization
In partnership with PMO and operations teams, drive and mature release management, scaled agile, consistent metrics and efficient processes
What We’re Looking For:Basic Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
8+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience designing non-trivial, modern web portals for a global audience
5+ years developing on modern UI Frameworks (React, Angular)
Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Microsoft .NET, REST/OData, AWS, Tomcat, JMS, SQL, Oracle
8+ years hands-on experience contributing to coding, application architecture & design, proven software/enterprise integration design patterns and full-stack knowledge including modern distributed front end and back end technology stacks
Quality first mindset with a strong background and experience with developing products for a global audience at scale
Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with strong ability to influence both IT and business partners
Financial services industry experience
Deep knowledge and commitment to CI/CD, Agile and XP and modern design principles like 12 factor applications
Knowledgeable in developing Micro Front-end solutions
Expert in cloud based development methods and state of the art design patterns
Experience building and supporting solutions in the cloud (AWS preferred) including a strong understanding of cloud native architectures, design patterns and best practices
Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding and experience of large Agile projects & programs including promotion of continuous improvement through assessment and action planning
Hands-on experience with open source, distributed software development and git workflows
