Implements the range of professional Production Quality standards and concepts according to defined targets and processes.
* Plans and completes unit-related Production Quality projects. Implements actions and monitors effectiveness and sustainability of solutions with defined quality methods, e.g. 8D and FMEA. * Accompanies relocation projects in respect to all quality-relevant topics, e.g. transfer of FMEA and 8D records and production release via audits. * Acts as a an advisor to management and business partners on advanced technical areas. * Advices and escalates to the accountable management of the unit, in all production quality-related issues. * Ensures and implements of production standards, guidelines and programs in an assigned plant environment. * Analyzes workflow environment and proposes improvements to management. * Designs and coordinates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. * Executes quality standards in Production Quality operations and processes. * Performs production quality reporting and analysis. * Initiates trainings for production employees with regards to quality (e.g. PDCA, Poka Yoke). * Ensures effective cooperation with both, internal and external stakeholders; clarifies issues. Performs Quality coordination for all production products within BU and to other partner production sites.
Candidates should have minimum 5 years’ of experience in Generator manufacturing assembly process
Leads quality efforts to improve manufacturing process compliance
Through knowledge of generator (Rotor Coils/Phase rings/Winding) testing and handling of electrical Test equipment
Thorough knowledge & experience of problem solving methods & quality tools
Experience in performing quality process audits
Regular and effective communication internally with operators for better quality awareness
Facilitates Corrective Action when quality issues arise and monitors verification of effectiveness activities for corrective actions performed
Handling the calibration of tools and equipment
Drives the investigation and elimination of the root causes of complex quality problems, promptly prepare & follow up corrective actions by using best practice and quality tools (5-Why, Ishikawa, 8D, Drill Deep Drill Wide…etc.)
SAP PP and QM module skills
Strong track record of cultivating external and internal relationships through engaging with customers and working cross-functionally to resolve quality issues
