Job Description
Amazon India is looking for an outstanding, highly motivated, result-oriented Senior Operations Executive to join our IN Inventory Placement team operating from Bangalore centrally. This position is primarily responsible for monitoring Prime Now inventory placement, defect correction, auditing the configurations, supporting business teams on deep-dives into placement decision.
This role will serves as a focal point of contact for business teams as well as internal SC teams to address all queries related to inventory placements. The position also supports various other inventory placement expansion initiatives such as new regions to start inventory placement and reduce SwOOS shipments for the network.
The person deals well with SOP, and exercises good judgement and bias for action. The incumbent is mentally flexible, adapts quickly to changing workflow, and priorities, and views new challenging tasks as growth opportunities. The ideal candidate earns trust within their team, and demonstrates high ownership. The person looks around the corners, and calls out barriers before they become larger issues. Most importantly, the person thrives in a support environment, and obsesses about both internal and external customer experience. The successful candidate is a highly organized individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. We are looking for a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and with the ability to work independently.
Roles and Responsibilities
Below are the key responsibilities (but not limited to) for the Senior Operations Executive
1. Analyze data and identify the root cause of issues shared by Business POCs to provide a solution to them
2. Ensure optimal inventory placement by enabling new lanes/arcs by following the SOP and ensuring all configurations are in place
3. Follows SOP for daily order dropping while adhering to guardrails set by S&OP capacities.
4. Establish monthly audit mechanisms to ensure ideal inventory placements with correct configurations
5. Report data to leadership on weekly changes in the key metrics.
6. Adapts new tools and technologies to continuously improve the process.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Graduate or post graduate in science, BE/BTech with min 2 years of experience in field related to analytics, operations, inventory management or allied field.
· Language: English
· Technical (Computers & Internet) savvy is required. Business acumen in areas of e-commerce and retail.
· Committed seller advocate, drive process & tool improvements.
· Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation.
· Strong prioritization and time management skills, with a high degree of flexibility.
· Demonstrate appropriate sense of urgency for contact response time in the face of variable workflow.
· Demonstrates effective communication, composure, and professional attitude
· Exemplary performance record, particularly with regard to quality & productivity
Preferred Qualifications
· Desired skill-sets include MS Office Application Excel and Internet Explorer / Mozilla Firefox.
· Proven analytical skills and highly comfortable with numbers while preparing various inventory placement reports.
· High on ownership and proven skills in SOP driven work elements.
