Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Subject Matter Expert in
Wholesale / Institutional Banking processes
In
this role, Genpact Credit Risk Practice team offers a dynamic work environment
to work directly with Large Banks and financial institutions focused on
offering products like Secured Loans, Revolvers, Asset Based / Backed Lending,
Leverage finance, Project finance etc.
You will work
closely with the middle and senior management personnel of the client in originations,
underwriting and portfolio management teams and will lead this team and be
responsible for delivery of output for multiple clients.
You
will be expected to be focused on Banking Financial Services & Capital Market
industry’s realities and pain points with a focus on commercial credit domain and
know how to solve these using analytics and technology.
Responsibilities
·
Works
as a subject matter expert in credit risk space of Large ticket lending operations
·
Leading
operations and spearheading processes for excelling business targets for the
Business Unit
·
Meet
all people management metrics: Responsible for Attrition, Manpower requirement,
Capacity planning, Utilization and Scheduling, Productivity per person,
Monitoring, Time Management, Seat Utilization, Statement of Work, Business
Continuity Plan, Reports, Dashboards, other deliverables as required
·
Respond
to customer inquiries and problem escalations
·
Proactively
resolve people issues and ensure that attrition is well below the defined
target
·
Driving
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
·
Deep
technical expertise and data orientation in controllership, Management
Information System and Service delivery
·
Communicate
with the customer on a regular basis to discuss operational issues and CTQ
delivery, raise issues proactively & build relationship, understand
customer issues proactively, fix to get the delight factor
·
Set
goals for the team and communicate goals on a regular basis
·
Coach
& mentor people – Motivating team with excellent people touch
·
Productivity
and Process Transformation commitment and upstream improvement opportunities
using Lean Six Sigma
·
Leading
calls with clients and other business functions
·
Running
multiple projects independently
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
·
CA /
CFA / MBA Finance (from a top-tier institute)
·
10-12 years
of relevant research and financial experience
·
Relevant experience in a BPO/KPO
·
Ability to handle large teams (50-100 resources)
with diverse skills and needs and spread across multiple accounts
·
Customer
Management exposure and good presentation skills is a must
Preferred qualifications
·
Understanding
of Risk is a plus (Credit, market, geographic, operations)
·
Good
understanding of fundamental accounting principles as well as of macroeconomic
and microeconomic function
·
Ability
to understand and analyze company reports and financial statements and write
summary reports, analyze sector/market trends
·
Analytical
bent of mind with attention to detail
·
Effective
communication skills and equipped with excellent knowledge of MS Excel,
PowerPoint, Word
·
Knowledge
around automation tools and technologies preferable
