A new fully digitized Business Suite – SAP S/4HANA – is a key pillar of SAP’s strategy. It is essential for the success of SAP that SAP S/4HANA becomes the most widely adopted business platform in the industry to manage our customers’ digital transformation. Our team Product Engineering S/4HANA DSC Planning – Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), develops innovations that provide our customers highly robust and flexible solutions for managing both in-house production and external procurement while optimizing the utilization of resources. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model according to the scrum methodology.

The Role

As a user assistance developer, you will create user assistance (UA) deliverables (both text and multimedia) in close collaboration with the development teams, UX designers and other stakeholders to enable users to deploy, administer and use the SAP software. You will have to ensure that the UA deliverables are of high quality, adhere to SAP’s standards and guidelines and are written in appropriate style and tone for product and target audience. You will have to drive the definition of terminology that is simple, consistent and conforms to industry standards. You will have to regularly proofread and edit content for usability, readability and linguistic correctness. You are also expected to have a good understanding about the functionality for which you will be writing the user documentation.

Role Requirements

4-7 years of experience as a user assistance developer / technical writerExperience of DITA CMS Ixiasoft would be preferredThe ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise mannerOutstanding communication, writing and grammar skills together with the ability to work to tight deadlines, deliver on time and ensure high qualityA willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short noticeKnowledge in logistics processes (for example, sales, production planning, delivery)
