The Team
SAP Ariba is looking for a Product Manager based in Bangalore, India who will be part of the Product Management team responsible for the various supplier offerings of SAP Business Network – the largest business network in the world with over 5m subscribers.
The Role
Deep understanding of overall product lifecycle and Product Management artifacts
Proficient at writing requirements documents and explaining details of the requirements
Ability to work with developers, QA, UX, technical support, sales and consulting. Strong team player.
Experience with Agile methodology and working in an Agile software development environment
Experience using JIRA for product development and Aha! for product planning is a plus
The Role Responsibilities
Ability to work globally and deliver global B2B products and services
Strong business acumen and organizational skill, the ability to translate business objectives into software and services and the ability to communicate and influence the development process and operational execution to ensure high quality market relevant offering
Be a leader and work closely with all members of the SAP Business Network Unit including Product Management, Solutions, Marketing and Engineering to help define overall business strategies and development plans to enhance and create product solutions that will deliver compelling business value to suppliers and buyers.
Create and maintain a strong roadmap and manage the product management process. Gather and provide detailed product requirements and drive product feature prioritization with cross functional teams for each product release planning cycle and change process for operational services.
Support product rollout and communicate the release details to internal and external customers, including sales training and marketing collaterals
All other duties as assigned
Qualification and other Skills
Minimum 6-10 years Product Management experience with preferably bachelor’s degree in management or related subjects. MBA preferred or proven track-record
Understanding of software development lifecycle
Strong presentation, communication, verbal and written skills. Comfortable presenting to C-level executives, customers and prospects
