About the Team:
As SAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass. We make a strong effort to integrate complex processes for buying goods and services into a unified platform that efficiently handles sourcing, payment, and everything in between. As we develop the next generation of integrated spend management cloud solutions, our unit seeks to be a frontrunner in cloud and agile mindset to software development. Summary & Role Information:
Come help define the overall product strategy for SAP’s Supplier Management portfolio. Come be part of SAP’s Product Management team.
Help to define the overall product strategy.
Frequently talk to customers across industries and regions to determine what’s needed to build the best product on the market.
Create and maintain a product roadmap which provides value to customers and increases SAP’s market share.
Make sure feature stories are well written and understood, review UX mockups and ensure the product is thoroughly being tested.
Leverage your communication skills by sharing the product strategy, vision and roadmap to customers and internal SAP teams.
Display your leadership capabilities by guiding Dev, UX & QA teams to build and deliver product features on time with exceptional quality.
Mentor junior Product Managers. Teach them about customer empathy and taking ownership of their work.
Help construct a complete end-to-end solution by working and collaborating with other application teams such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG and SAP Business Network.
Continue to grow and stay current on Product Management industry best practices by taking advantage of SAP’s wide range of training courses.
Experience/ Role Requirements:
Bachelors / Master’s degree in computer science, or related fields.
Minimum 6 years Product Management experience.
Experience defining product vision and roadmap.
Proven track record building software applications on-time with high quality standards.
Deep understanding of overall product lifecycle and Product Management deliverables.
Cross team leadership skills to ensure everyone is working towards the same common goals and outcome.
Understanding of SAP’s end-to-end Procurement process and how each product is integrated.
Strong presentation, communication, verbal and written skills. Comfortable presenting to C-level executives, customers and prospects.
Experience working with a Third Party Risk Management application is a big plus.
