SUMMARY
We are looking for a self-driven and passionate software engineer to join our team of around 200 colleagues,distributed across 3 locations Walldorf (Germany), Bangalore (India) and Sofia (Bulgaria). We build, deliver and operate the SAP CP Workflow Management product consisting of the cloud services: SAP Workflow, SAP BusinessRules, SAP Process Visibility and SAP Task Center. Our mission is to accelerate digital transformation & automation of business processes, providing differentiating experiences with services & content.
THE ROLE
As part of our team, you will be driving the evolution of Workflow and the Digital Process Automation space. You will develop and operate cloud services as a full stack developer (JAVA, Spring, Java Script, SQL/NoSQL) using best of thebread cloud technologies. Our development follows the principle of lean/agile and dev-ops where teams have end to end responsibility of design, development and operation of the services.
The role provides you an opportunity to work with open-source products and technologies in cloud native development (Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Cassandra, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana etc.).
The responsibilities includes, but not limted to;
Research, design, development, operation and testing of usable software in tight collaboration with the Product owner and the team
Working on problems of complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and design principles
Working as a fully contributing team member with independent planning & execution responsibilities
Building upon domain knowledge in application and service development in cloud and additionally building the technical skills needed to reach the levels of expertise
DevOps for the Service that your team works on
ROLE REQUIREMENT
Bachelor or master degree in Engineering or Technology from premium institutes
7-12 years of experience in software development and architecture
Excellent programming knowledge in JAVA/Spring/JavaScript with sound knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Principles and Design Patterns
Understanding of building scalable and distributed cloud Applications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with Innovative mindset
Experience of Continuous Integration and continuous delivery including Jenkins job configurations, build processes
Goal-oriented team worker with effective communication skills and ability to work independently, and eagerness tolearn and explore new topics
Ability to work and lead the team in the architecture and development aspects for the product following lean/agile methodologies
