Summary:
We are looking for a smart and dynamic expert to join our Cloud Application Services team in SAP. Candidate is expected to have technical understanding of the SAP Products / Applications, with strong leadership skills. The candidate is expected to participate in customer discussions with stakeholders from multiple levels of Management as well as collaborate with multiple partner teams, along with excellent presentation and customer handling skills.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) maximizes the success of customers with their SAP solutions in managed, private, and public cloud area. Cloud Application Services is part of the ECS organization and helps customers to accelerate their Innovation adoption, delivering the flexibility to adapt to business changes, rapidly implement technologies and standardize and optimize operations of SAP centric solutions. The SAP CAS organization is focusing on managed service delivery across the SAP product portfolio for applications, managed security, and testing.
The Cloud Application Services unit is responsible for running SAP’s applications that helps our customers with their business transformation and business continuity.
Expectation & Tasks
Candidate is expected to perform following tasks as part of the role:
Deep dive expertise in area of service management
Support customer’s Intelligent Enterprise transformation by acting as trusted advisor in area of release and deployment management across SAP Applications
Escalation point for deployment management related issues
Understand customer business, service management processes and associated challenges & suggest continuous improvement (CI) solutions and innovation
Help develop release strategies & plans for the deployment and support of SAP Applications
Attend customer meetings for Release Management service delivery customer kick off, governance and workshops as required.
Focus on Customer Satisfaction with delivery improvements
Service Escalation Management – focused on release management and execution
Identify optimization potential from a perspective of building proficiency on customer accounts
Prompt in identification and highlighting risks to senior management with mitigation and remediation plan
Occasional need to work on weekends or Non-business times based on criticality
Maintain Release and deployment process operational conformance to established quality, regulatory and contractual requirements.
Aware of the global standards defined by the ALM Operations Process Owners
Collaborate with the business process owners/experts
Knowledge regarding the used ALM tools related to their specific ALM process
Standardize and harmonize the ALM functionality in the company support IT projects in ALM architecture and design
Manage the ALM experts of the respective ALM process.
Required Skills:
B.Tech / B.Eng./ MBA from a well reputed institute
Total Experience of 6+ Years in Application Monitoring – Release Management, ALM
Proficient understanding of SAP technologies and applications
Experience in positioning the Services Package to a global business.
Leading customer workshops for the Release Management – Fit Gap Sessions & Realization and support assignments
Worked for Global Customers across different industries
Must be able to translate client business needs to business requirements
Self-driven and dedicated to continuous learning
Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
Strong interpersonal & Team collaboration skills to work effectively in international and virtual teams
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferable
Graduate in Engineering / Computer science / Information systems
Experience with customers across diversified industries
