SUMMARY:
SAP Success factors is looking for Director of Engineering (Quality) who will drive and manage engineering and quality excellence as well as manage customer success. You will empower a broad range of cross functional teams to ship high quality products. Working closely with engineering, product, customer success and triage teams, you will formalize and drive key results to deliver holistic quality and engineering excellence strategy
This position will report directly into the V.P. Engineering of SuccessFactors and based in Bangalore, India.
ROLE INFORMATION:
Track and Work across multiple modules to bring well defined engineering excellence
Ensure Engineering excellence by building the right processes for the team as well as clearly defining Agile approach
Track a 360 degree approach to Projects – Tracking overall technical approach, design, coding, code hygiene, code quality, Unit Testing, automation, security, threat modelling, performance.
Coordinate across engineering, product and operational teams and drive e2e execution
Interface with cross-functional teams and drive product integrations
Manage end to end Automation and Golden Data Instance Management
Plan and Manage Technical Debt
Manage Component Pipeline and improve developer productivity
Move the product from passive customer sustenance to proactive customer success
Lead and manage Triage Team to drive customer excellence
Own and monitor key results and own end to end release engineering
EXPERIENCE:
12+ years of experience software engineering, quality engineering management roles.
Ability to adhere and drive strong quality practices
Experience in Customer Excellence preferred
Effective communication skills and Boundaryless leadership
Experience in Building strong teams:
Arbitrates technical & process disagreements across teams
Collaborates closely across the company with other managers to maintain a strong, healthy relationship with other groups
Partner with senior engineering leaders and cross-functional leadership team
Recruit, develop and retain a strong technology teams
Identify, develop and grow talent
Participate in the building innovation and increase in developer productivity.
