Summary
The Solution Experience Digital Core team is part of the Global Customer Operations organization, supporting pre-sales, sales and solution management with compelling demo content and infrastructure which allows SAP to showcase solutions like SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud to potential customers all over the world.
Additionally, the team continuously adjusts, improves and simplifies the content by incorporating the latest technology & product innovations.
The Role
Be part of the first internal customer adopting/enabling latest innovations delivered by SAP in context of Intelligent Finance while closely collaborating with Solution Management, Product Management, Development, and Presales to ensure that compelling demo content is available in sapdemostore.com timely after Release to Customer (RTC).
Key tasks include:
Storyboarding – the combination of your technical and practical business experience will be applied to help create compelling business use cases (storyboards) that best showcase delivered innovations
Demo Build/Support – take a lead role in managing demo build projects working closely with various teams globally; assist with technical troubleshooting, searching fixes, and provide hands-on build support where needed
Demo Asset Delivery – take a lead role in the review and sign-off process of demo assets (demo scripts, recordings, etc.) to ensure compliance with standards before publication/release to the stakeholders
Field Communication – take a lead role working closely with global stakeholders and manage expectations; present demos during Demo Portfolio calls, Demo N2K sessions, and Learn to Win days to a global audience
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business or Computer Science or similar degree/certifications
Good knowledge and hands-on experience of customizing Finance solutions
Corporate business knowledge/understanding of Finance processes, beyond technical implementation experience
Excellent communication skills in English.
Good knowledge in Advanced Financial Closing, Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation, Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt, Accruals and Deferrals, and SAP Cash Application is a plus
At least 8 or more years of professional experience working as an SAP consultant, in Product / Solution Management and/or in Presales
Experience in preparing customer demos – configuring the system and writing compelling demo stories
Experience presenting/demoing SAP solutions to a customer
Experience in listening to customer understanding their needs
Experience in managing diverse stakeholders
Project Management experience that includes all project phases: blueprinting/design, implementation, testing, rollout, etc. is a plus
Experience working in global/virtual teams is a plus
