Regional Sales Manager – East India (Crushing & Screening Plant & Equipment Sales)

Key Performance Areas
RSM is is responsible for developing customer relationships and (or) an effective sales team to meet the required revenue targets for the segment.The position reports to National Sales Manager – Plant & Equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Firstly, you will ensure a safe working environment abiding by all necessary health and safety requirements and legislation and promote a proactive safe working environment.
Driving sales in assigned territory by bringing the best of Sandvik’s offering to meet a given customer need and meet SRP profitability targets.
Conduct competitor analysis on offering, performance, pricing, market share and services and identify needed actions
Closely follow the implementation and execution of the activities outlined in the business plans and initiate necessary mitigating actions.
Identify and evaluate marketing & sales strategy.
Responsible for business development and customer relationship management.
Recruit, retain and develop sales team including succession planning
Create customer value propositions (that include TCO, EHS, application and technical knowledge) to proactively create opportunities for Sandvik
Profile
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
8 -12 years’ of relevant experience in Crusher Equipment Sales, Planning and Customer Satisfaction
Ability to lead negotiations on commercial T&C’s
Proficient in the use of MS Office
Ability to work flexibly to meet demanding deadlines
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong planning and organizational skills
