We are hiring a talented and experienced individual to join a leading distributor of coffee products as General Manager – Sales at Goa – Verna.
As a General Manager – Sales, you will be responsible for improving sales targets. You will also be responsible for leading the Sales team and building brand awareness.
To perform this job role, you will require to have excellent knowledge of current trends in the sales market. You should be able to work under no supervision and possess excellent communication skills. Also, you will require to multitask and work in a team setup.

Requirements
Min. 10 -15 years work experience in overall sales strategy formulation, implementation, achieving business objectives, revenue targets and leading team.
Candidate should preferably be from Food & Beverage, Appliances, Consumer Goods industry

Job Responsibilities:
BUSINESS PLANNING & REVIEW
Estimate the market size, prepare annual sales plan, set monthly targets, monitor achievement of monthly targets and take corrective actions in order to achieve business plans.
Control marketing budgets, collect information about competitors.
BUSINESS ACQUISITION & DEVELOPMENT
Generate business opportunities, hold commercial negotiations, and follow-up with important customer accounts.
Work out on product price in concern with Management and acquire sales orders in order to ensure linear order inflow at optimum sales margin.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Creating and Building Sales Team, wherever needed (depending on budget and discussions with management). Manpower planning for optimum utilization.
Recruitment and selection of sales team and ensuring that necessary support, guidance, and counselling is given for growth and motivation.
Performance Management of sales team – identify non-performers taking corrective action & motivating and rewarding Sales Performers.
Responsible for entire Sales Team Performance & Targets.
Taking Sales Reporting from Sales Team and responsible for submission of sales reports to Founder.
MARKETING AND BRANDING STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
Conduct sales promotion, participate in fairs, conferences & seminars in order to achieve business growth.
Developing branding strategy, channel management and communications strategy.
Enforcing CRM usage, making sure marketing campaigns are done as per campaign schedule.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Cracking deals with important accounts, traveling to important trade shows, participating in major negotiations.
Ensure timely and effective customer complaint resolution, timely response and communication, updating in the system in order to maintain long term relationship.
Control & check sales orders for timely execution of orders, etc
