Key competencies requirement (MUST HAVE)
Must have experience in working in Purchase department and also have Negotiation & Analytical Skill.
Must be able to co-ordinate with other functional people and plant people for getting necessary details
Must have very good control over MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Power Point
Must believe in giving results and follow SOP in procurement process
Key Accountabilities :
Dealing with User departments for understanding the Purchase requirements.
Receive and monitor purchase requisitions.
Identifying suppliers, floating enquiries, preparing TBA & CBA of offers received from vendors, creating orders in ERP and releasing orders to vendors.
Identify and selection of contractors / consultants as per project requirement.
Correspondence with vendor / contractors for material delivery.
Managing logistics activities and co ordination with store and account department for payment process.
Developing the vendor for ARC for consolidating various consumable requirements.
Understanding the requirement and arranging alternative which is cost effective.
Preparing MIS Reports as per requirement of management within the given deadline
Academic background: Graduate or BE preferred
Learning experience: 3 to 7 Years
Main Internal Relations
Regularly with Projects, Maintenance, Civil and Accounts. Also occasionally with all other functions.
Main External Relations
With vendors and transporters.
