Responsible for building relationships with and providing advanced scientific and health outcomes support to regional and national managed care organizations, health care systems, government payers, and other organizations that are involved with medication formulary decisions. The MCL also provides field-based representation to facilitate research, education, and other collaborations. Builds relationship and demonstrates the clinical outcome and benefits of company products to thought leaders, medical groups, government agencies, key opinion leaders and health systems with drug formularies, consumer-ready medical and dental products. Educates and demonstrates the benefits of key products to clinical professors, teaching-hospital faculty, residents, and students. Provides medical information to internal/external health sources such as the sales force, outside health professions, public, and government. Explores and identifies sites for clinical trial in all stages of development. Coordinates continuing education workshops, seminars, and programs for graduate physicians, pharmacists, and scientists. Responds to unsolicited inquiries to establish and/or further the knowledge and understanding of marketed products and related topics.
