POSITION SUMMARY
As an IT Systems Administrator at Rimini Street, you will be responsible for supporting our primary data center, our Disaster Recovery site, global remote sites and users. Responsibilities will include management of VMware, Backups, Storage, Active Directory, Databases, Windows infrastructure, Alerts, Monitoring and IT tickets.

This role requires strong technical and business aptitude, as well as excellent verbal, written communication skills, and attention to detail. It also requires a strong commitment to customer service and superior communication and organization skills essential in fostering excellent relationships with our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience automating routine tasks with Power Shell.
Manage and maintain server, storage, and virtual infrastructure.
Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and report on backups of VMs, Servers, Databases and Files.
Manage and maintain Print Servers, DFS, Active Directory, DHCP and DNS infrastructure
Manage and maintain data centers
Work closely with other departments to build and troubleshoot virtual systems and provide necessary access.
Proactively monitor and troubleshoot systems with SolarWinds.
Load balance power and manage UPS and PDUs.
Rotational on call support.
Lead & timely completion of Projects.
Off-hours maintenance support as needed.
Other job-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with standard System Administration tasks including server builds, security updates, software installations and system troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills
Attention to details
A strong commitment to follow and improve processes and procedures
A dedication to produce useful and detailed documentation
Self-motivated and able to manage self-imposed deadlines and responsibilities
Strong team player who excels in a collaborative environment
Demonstrated skills in planning and successfully executing complex IT projects
LOCATION
Hyderabad, Telangana, India
EDUCATION
Bachelor and/or Masters in Computer Science or related field preferred
EXPERIENCE
4+ years of experience with Systems and Active Directory Administration
4+ years of experience with Storage and Blade Servers
4+ years of experience with VMware
4+ years of experience with backups
2+ Years of experience in scripting Languages such as Python, Perl and PowerShell
2+ Years of experience supporting data centers
Proofpoint or other SPAM management experience
SKILLS
Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS
VMware including SRM
Storage and Blade Servers
Superior customer service skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Solid understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems including Active Directory, DHCP and DNS services
VMware Enterprise Plus product suite
MCP or equivalent experience
Patch management experience
