Full Job Description
As IT Systems Manager at Rimini Street, you will be responsible for supporting the India team of engineers. This team partners with a similar US team that runs our data centers, OnPrem VMware Clusters, AWS EC2 and workspaces, Disaster Recovery site, global remote sites and users. Responsibilities will include management of VMware, Backups, Storage, Active Directory, OKTA, Databases, Windows infrastructure, Alerts, Monitoring, and IT tickets.

This position requires a high level of comfort with leading a technical team that focuses on Servers, storage, and identity management on prem and in the cloud.
This role requires strong technical and business aptitude, as well as excellent verbal, written communication skills, and attention to detail. It also requires a strong commitment to customer service and organization skills essential in fostering excellent relationships with our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and develop a technical team
Lead and manage projects the team owns
Author and own Process, SOP, and Work Instruction documents
Manage the support for Compliance and Security requests for evidence and remediations for ISO and SOX requirements
Partner with US team to support the infrastructure environment and goals in each of its technical areas of ownership.
Report on KPIs and Project Status to Director of IT Systems
Oversee the automation of routine tasks with PowerShell
Lead the team in each of its areas of technical responsibility including but not limited to: Active Directory, AWS, On Prem Datacenters, Physical Servers, Power management, Virtual Servers, VDI, SaaS tools, Print Servers, DFS, DHCP, DNS, Office 365, Email, Storage, Backups, SCCM, Monitoring and Alerting.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

10+ years of relevant technical and management experience,
Skills
Success in using IT service management practices based on ITIL.
Must have a mindset of automation and have experience running a team that operates infrastructure as code. Being able identify opportunities to automate existing processes is a must.
Solid background in supporting eDiscovery, data retention and preservation policies.
Track record of building and effectively managing diverse teams while putting the appropriate processes and infrastructure in place to drive growth.
Deep understanding of Active Directory architecture and ecosystem.
Experience with access control in Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and managing various security configurations.
Experience managing and automating Servers and configuration management.
