The Red Hat Cloud Virtualization and Data services (CVDS) team is looking for an Operations Program Manager to join us in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will work with the global teams on and support operations projects. You will actively engage with different teams to facilitate projects that are global and diverse in nature along with project timelines and prioritization of work. As a Program Manager, you will also build out, track, and communicate progress of projects. You’ll play a key role in building out communication strategy, bringing more awareness of project outcomes.
Primary job responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to each project
Evaluate existing processes; implements process improvement initiatives
Support management in identifying creative ways for team interactions and team building
Define processes and metrics to manage and measure consumption for delivering high quality Red Hat products
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
Collect data to identify the root cause of problems
Measure performance against process requirements
Build dashboards for measurement, analysis, improvement, and control of initiatives
Communicates team progress; perform cost and benefit analyses
Required skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or communications with demonstrated technical expertise
Experience working as an operations project manager for analytics and IT-based projects
Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in creative, technical, and business roles
Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Flexible with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
Ability to learn by doing and finding opportunities to teach others
Ability to effectively provide, accept, and apply feedback
The following will be considered a plus:
Familiarity with strategy, analytics, and processes
Experience working within a technology organization
Knowledge of Red Hat’s portfolio of offerings and the competitive landscape
