WHAT YOUâLL DO:
SimpleBills receives data from various sub-metering technology in order to bill residents each month. You will create data files, analyze data to ensure we are meeting client expectation and regulatory requirements. A review of MOM variances is critical in identifying anomalies in consumption trends, as well as, identifying and managing equipment maintenance. An ideal candidate will be a quick learner and able to work well with a team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for an assigned portfolio of multifamily properties
Ability to collaborate with other team members to ensure client success
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet client SLAs as well as daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
Ability to work independently to manage ongoing projects.
Responsible for the efficient, compliant, timely and secure entry of data and data files.
Work with external vendors, and internal business and technology staff to accurately gather data sources.
Assist other employees in the data and data file entry and review.
Sub-meter Analytics
MOM variance reporting
Complete training and testing in competencies as defined by the leadership of the billing department.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
At least 9 months of experience as a Billing Specialist or equivalent experience require.
Proficient knowledge of MS Word, MS Access and Excel required.
Excellent language and communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette required.
Demonstrate patience and overall courteous behavior when working with internal and external customers.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external management and work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to achieve desired results; must be approachable.
Strong organizational ability; must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; detail orientated.
Able to sit or stand for frequent periods in the same location with some opportunity to move about.
Able to stoop or lift light material (typically less than 8 pounds).
Overtime is required during the heavy billing period each month; sufficient notice will be given.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Experience in the multi-family industry or bookkeeping is preferred.
Previous experience with sub-meters, resident billing, invoice processing
