What You’ll Do
The Director of Information Technology will engineer and operate world-class Collaboration, Productivity, Desktop Support, VPN/Network services and Corporate Systems to the employees of Provenir striving to provide the most seamless experience for our global workforce. This role is able to work remotely.
Essential Job Functions
Lead and manage a team of IT Systems Engineers distributed globally with full responsibility for hiring, training and performance management.
Engineer, implement and operate the best-in-class Productivity and Collaboration Tools including Slack, Zoom, Jira/Confluence, SSO and Google Workspace
Provide a globally responsive IT Helpdesk service to resolve technical issues based on published SLAs
Communicate, demonstrate, and teach new technologies and procedures to newly onboarded and existing employees
Build and maintain corporate networks, both in corporate offices as well as public cloud providers
Build and maintain VPN solutions and endpoint protection software
Schedule and manage vulnerability scans with responsibility for all Corporate Systems remediation
Build and perform asset management functions ensuring Provenir employees have the best tools to do their best work
Engineer, implement and operate a Corporate Workflow solution via Service Bus Integration, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence to automate and support business operations
Implement and manage all physical and logical security solutions ensuring full compliance with PCI/SOC2/ISO27001 standards
Build and operate incident, change and problem management solutions ensuring full transparency, tracking, and reporting of issues through the appropriate tools and processes
Manage company-wide communications and regularly brief internal stakeholders on IT strategy, roadmap, and KPIs/Metrics
Continuously identify and remediate recurring issues by improving technology, tools, processes, and training.
Create and maintain a single source of content for KB articles, training, and company-wide communications
Qualifications, Strengths and Skills
Experience-7+ years providing outstanding customer support for IT software and hardware
Education-Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience & technical certifications
Expert ability to analyze and trouble shoot computer, network, and application issues
Expert knowledge of: Corporate LAN/Wi-Fi Networks, Video Conferencing and Managed Print Services
Expert knowledge of: Windows/MacOS, Microsoft Office, Client VPNs, Smartphones & Tablets, Microsoft Active Directory and Dell/Apple hardware repair
Expert knowledge of: AV/Security software and corporate backup/restore systems
Expert network engineering skills, both on corporate and cloud platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (must have the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels)
Exceptional customer service/client facing skills
Excellent follow-up and follow through skills
